收藏: Taoist blessing

China's Four Sacred Taoist Mountains are Mount Wudang in Hubei, Mount Qingcheng in Sichuan, Mount Longhu in Jiangxi, and Mount Qiyun in Anhui. Each possesses unique characteristics and serves as a core pillar of Taoist belief and culture.
Mount Wudang, located in Hubei, is the sacred site of the Perfected Warrior (Zhenwu) Emperor. It is renowned for its magnificent imperial palace-temple architecture and Wudang martial arts. The most efficacious prayers here are for career and health. As the Perfected Warrior Emperor governs the north and presides over destiny and official rank, praying for a stable career, success in officialdom at the Golden Summit (Taihe Palace), and for warding off evil, dispelling disasters, and longevity at Zixiao Palace are considered particularly potent.
Mount Qingcheng, in Sichuan, is one of the birthplaces of the Way of the Celestial Masters. It is famous for its serene, "peerlessly secluded" natural environment. The most efficacious prayers here are for mental clarity, peace, and spiritual enlightenment. Praying for a safe journey and a smooth start to endeavors at Jianfu Palace, and for inner peace and progress in spiritual cultivation at Shangqing Palace, are the preferred choices for Taoist practitioners and those seeking inner tranquility.
Mount Longhu, in Jiangxi, is the ancestral court of the Orthodox Unity (Zhengyi) Celestial Master tradition. It is noted for its striking red cliffs, clear waters, and mysterious hanging coffins. The most efficacious prayers here are for protection against evil, safeguarding the household, and family peace. At the Celestial Master's Mansion, the "Fox Immortal Hall" is where one prays for marriage and unexpected wealth, while seeking talismans at Shangqing Palace to ensure household safety and to cure illness or avert disaster represents the core practice of the Talismanic tradition.
Mount Qiyun, in Anhui, is a sacred site of the Complete Perfection (Quanzhen) school in southern China, characterized by its Danxia landforms and cliff inscriptions. The most efficacious prayers here are for offspring, marriage, scholarly achievement, and success in examinations. Within the cluster of temples beside Yuxu Palace, incense offerings for children and marriage are especially vigorous. Praying for scholarly honors and academic success at the "Wenchang Cave" within the Zhenxian Cave complex is also highly revered by devotees.
